A Public Lecture by Brandon Warmke

Join the Washington Center of Civics, Culture, and Statesmanship for a public lecture examining whether America's universities are in need of fundamental reform. Brandon Warmke is Associate Professor of Humanities at the University of Florida's Hamilton School for Classical and Civic Education. He was previously Associate Professor of Philosophy at Bowling Green State University and, during the 2023–2024 academic year, a visiting fellow at the Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization at the University of Colorado, Boulder. His research spans moral responsibility, forgiveness, free expression, and public discourse.

Warmke is the co-author, with Justin Tosi, of Grandstanding: The Use and Abuse of Moral Talk (Oxford University Press, 2020) and Why It's OK to Mind Your Own Business (Routledge, 2023), and co-editor of Forgiveness and Its Moral Dimensions (Oxford University Press, 2021). Their work has appeared in CNN, Aeon, The Conversation, and MarketWatch, and has been featured in The Atlantic, New York Times Magazine, Scientific American, and The Guardian, among other outlets.
